Our History

The owner of the company, Katherine Youngs, has worked as an administrative assistant in both the public and private sector for almost twenty years. After graduating college, she started out as a temp, where she soon gained a reputation as a highly effective problem-solver. The placement agency through which she worked cycled her through numerous companies and government departments, most of which had been chronically under-staffed for some time and needed desperately to be set in order. Once Katherine had taken care of the backlog of administrative tasks, the agency would move her on to the next business in need of her skills.

After a few years of working through the agency, Ms. Youngs progressed to a contract with the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), which was later followed by a permanent offer. At NSERC, her responsibilities remained predominantly the same as they had been when she worked as a temp, as she was filling the role of a staff member who had left their position suddenly and left a rather large accumulation of paperwork and administrative tasks behind.

Katherine then struck out on her own to work independently for multiple small businesses who benefited from her expertise, in industries ranging from translation services to interior design. Now you can have Katherine put her skills and experience to work for you!
